Two weeks ago we went to the Sagrada Família to ask some questions to tourists. This project was based on language and culture in Barcelona. We had ten questions about for example their favourite food, the independence of Catalonia and typical Catalan traditions.
Each student asked some questions to five tourists. Not all the tourists accepted to answer the questions, some of them were unfriendly and they were in a hurry but people who did it did it very kindly.
Their favourite Spanish food were ''tapas, paella and gaspatxo''. They prefer their culture than catalan culture, and they prefer going to the beach than going to museums.
We have done this survey for the school project called "crèdit de síntesi".
When we finished our survey we met with our teacher Fred. We explained him what we did, and also, what people answered from the questionnaire.
Some anecdotes were really surprising. A woman said that Artur Mas was a painter! And another woman said that the typical food of Catalonia is pizza !
After an hour and a half walking around the Sagrada Família, we finished our work and we completed our ''mission''.
In general, it was quite good and interesting for us to know the knowledge of the tourists around Catalonia.
In class we did some statistics about the answers from the questionnaire.
With the results of the questionnaire we can see that Catalonia is very famous around the world!
